Assessment CD: Grades 5 – 6 (Levels T – Z)

The Assessment CD provides practice and application of new knowledge through short-answer and open-ended questions. The reproducible activity sheets offer large line drawings, graphic organizers such as charts, and other visual aids, plus straightforward questions that are perfect for concise assessment of each student's abilities. There are reproducible sheets with short-answer questions for each book in the collection. Additional sheets incorporate the subject and strand of the books with open-ended questions, such as, "Outer space is just one topic that requires us to use numbers in the billions. Can you think of other topics that require us to use numbers in the billions?" These questions can have multiple 'correct' answers without word limit, which will allow you to analyze the student’s grasp of the subject and ability to think mathematically. Answer keys are provided for each assessment activity.
