Aligns to the TEKS Resource System, Unit 6, Age of Jackson - Democracy Expands 1820s-1830s
With these resources, students will study populism and how the presidency of Andrew Jackson impacted the division between the classes as well as between rural and urban societies. This was also a profoundly negative change for the American Indians as they were resettled to make way for westward expansion.
