Wave and Tidal Power

Tidal power and its possibilities have been under consideration for more than half a century. Studies have shown the feasibility of several locations in the United States where tidal energy could be generated, and yet tidal generators were not built. One major concern is that the technology can kill marine life, and prevent biological productivity anywhere near the generator. This anthology looks at the science and issues behind wave and tidal power through a collection of for-or-against essays by today's authorities.
