Warriors Around the World

Who were the soldiers of the ancient world? How were ancient conflicts and wars resolved? Readers will get a view of history through the eyes of those on the front lines of some of its most famous battles. This series will describe the historical context in which each type of warrior thrived; the equipment and weapons they used; uniforms and clothing; tactics, strategies, fighting methods, and maneuvers; famous and infamous conflicts; and the lasting impact they had on war and history.
