Primary Sources of Colonial America
Through primary sources of the time that documented the
many reasons people left their homes in Europe and settled in the American
colonies, this series provides insights to the waves of immigrants who headed
for the New World and the contributions they made to the formation of a diverse
nation. Readers will see the big moments at the dawning of the United States and
its experiment in self-government through the eyes of the people who lived it.
This lends perspective and insights to the ideals on which the United States was
founded.
