Ancient Rome: Roman Portraiture
Students will read a short essay on roman portraiture, learning that the portrait bust was entirely a Roman invention. They'll also read brief essays about Julius Caesar, Augustus Caesar, Nero Claudius Caesar, and Hadrian, corresponding to each poster. A chart on Roman History by ruler is included, along with a list of famous monuments and buildings.
