Kids in History

The differences between childhood today and two hundred—or two thousand!—years ago are great. But, despite that, kids can still relate to other kids—even if they didn't have tablets or even working toilets! In this set, young readers adventure into the past to find out what kids in various historical periods wore, ate, learned, and played. Historical images like paintings, prints, and photographs are paired with many examples and achievable text to bring history to the present.
