Aligns to the TEKS Resource System, Unit 10 Civil War - The Endangered Union 1860-1865

With these resources, students will examine the election of 1860 and the impact it had in dividing the United States and leading it into civil war. Students will study major U.S. events through 1865 and the political decisions made by prominent leaders on both sides of the Civil War that affected the outcome of the war. Students will analyze the Emancipation Proclamation and the Gettysburg Address.
