Preschoolers are always reminded to “listen.” But what does that mean? It means taking in what another person says quietly before responding, taking time to understand what someone is asking you to do, and it's often used as another way to say “follow these directions.” The examples in this book help readers truly understand what listening is so they can implement it in their own classrooms, homes, and beyond.
